as the topic states will the d16y7 distributor work on a d16Y8 head??

I think I read somewhere it will work, but i can tell you where you can find out, if you search for info on the "mini me" swap, they talk all about what is interchangable and what isn't! They have alot of good info there.

According to the San Leandro Honda Parts catalog, they share the same part # (at least between a 1999 Dx and Ex).
