Does anyone know if Honda switched the B20B's sleeves from the quad-sequential sleeve block to the iron lineda luminum sleeve when they changed it to a B20Z or is it the same as the old B20B. As far as I can tell all B16's, B18's had the iron lining with the aluminum sleeve.

the B20B and B20Z have the same one piece sleeve.

Thanks, do you know this for a fact? Have you seen them side by side?

 

yes i have seen both of them.......my B20Z and my friends B20B.

neither one is "stronger" than the other.......they are both "weaker" than the B16's and B18's

my B20Z cracked a sleeve with 11.5:1CR (mainly a poor tuning issue)
