cluster help

Default cluster help

hey everyone juss swapped out my 88 hatchback dx w/o tach cluster with an 89 crx si w/tach cluster....only problem is that the fuel gauge isnt working and the temperature gauge...any idea whats wrong....do i have to move some wires around or something???? help please....thanks in adavance

it takes a little while, like a minute on my car, not a huge amount of time, if you drove with it you'd definitely see it go up.

your fuel gage wire is the yello/white and the temp is yellow/green switch the wires around see if the gas goes up and the temp takes a lil while cuz right now it sounds like the gas is switch with the temp but i could be wrong good luckk

ok...still doesnt work....after a few minutes of driving the hot/cold gauge rises just a lil bit...but the gas doesnt rise at all....also the rpm gauge....bounces up n down....also my hi-beam indicator doenst light up....still need help....

the tach bouncing is either the dizzy or the ignitor going bad. its a common thing. you do have enough gas to move the needle up yeah? also do the hi beams actually work or just the indicator not working?

pull out the bulb and make sure the base is making good contact, if it is take out one of your old bulbs from your other cluster and just replace it to see it was just the bulb since your high beams actually work

i found a blue socket to plug in another plug in the si cluster but my hatch doesnt have an extra plug for it....

hmm. I really can't say/know anybody know what the blue plug in the center of the cluster is for?

Yeah it is, he bought it from me and I pulled it out of my CRX this past weekend
I searched and saw a few thread about putting in an Si cluster in a DX abd some say its plug and play and some say it isn't?
