Default NJ inspection time, quick questions on ECU

Hey all
My car is not showing a CEL on dash but I have the ecu blinking a IACV code.
should I reset the ecu before going to inspection.
and will it make a difference for emissions ?
damn my 91 hatch already failed and my sedan is up in a few days.

if the cel is not on then the fault happened and now is "fixed". make sure your wireing is good and reset the ECU by dissconecting the minus battery cable.
