That photo was from 1994. Notice how the crossovers for the North/South courses are not in yet nor is the "autocross" lot or paddock.

I think that is an old picture. I don't see the new buildings. Nor do I see the North/South course cut throughs.

Yep, old picture before the resurection.
No north and south courses, no buildings at all. If you look real close you can see the dark spots are patches. There's a fantastic picture taken from an airplane in the 70s somewhere I'll see if I can dig it up.

...and also how much more horsepower it has. Horsepower has a funny way of equalizing things sometimes. They may also have been running in separate classes, although I don't really have any background info on this particular race.
The two scoops look like they're heading towards the driver, perhaps for keeping him/her cool.
