Default pictures of magnaflow es oval

i have a WS catback system, the other night the rear portion of the system was stolen (weld my goodies up from now on)

If i can avoid shelling out another $400 bucks for entire system or $240 for WS Universal was hoping to find a link or pictures of the magnaflow es oval on 4th gen prelude

Need something of quality/quiet/not expensive ??? I was completely happy with the sound level of the WS, so looking for something compairable that looks decent too. read a couple threads about the magnaflow es oval being quiet. is this the same thing as the universal magnaflow oval mufflers they sell on ebay? Are they of good quality?

Once again if anyone has a picture of there prelude with this exhaust on it please post it and i will appreciate it .. thanks

I saw your post on Houston Imports... sorry about your loss. I don't have any experience with Magnaflow mufflers myself, but my friend is buying one of their systems for his Accord, and apparently Speed Fetish in Houston is having a sale on Magnaflow products, so you might want to check with them for a price quote if you decide to order.

Sorry I am of no help but I am interested in purchasing a WS system for my SI. Could you feel or tell if you gained any power from it, or just sound/appearance?

i was completely happy with the exhaust...

this was on an h22 however and i didnt have a chance to get it dyno'ed but i am positive i gained good power (but dyno) .... however at the same time i put the catback on, i also took out the cat, and installed a dc header...

so you could say i improved flow significantly over a 12 year old stock exhaust/cat system...

worth noting i felt the power gains in mostly mid-range which is exactly what i wanted...

i would highly recommend the WS

I am sad to see mine go

Well, here's my Magnaflow. Not sure exactly what model it is but it looks and sounds pretty good. It's loud, but deep and smooth...

is that an old picture hawkze... don't you have d2's now? and to stay on subject I've heard mixed things about magnaflow... but it definately is pretty I'll give you that... maybe with a long resonator it wouldn't be as loud.. I don't like loud

Yeah, loving the D2s so far. I've had that exhaust for a while now and it is loud, but I never get tired of hearing it.

This is the one i got

I rattle canned it high temp flat black. Cant even see it but you can hear it

Also the offset inlet from the outlet works kinda like a resinator as it forces the exhaust gas to do like a loop. Worked great on my jun head setup. Also, mine has some pipe on the end of it as it was setup for my 5th gen.

man, that looks just like my thermal muffler I just picked up. However, before I boosted I had a magnaflow universal es oval muffler, looked good and sounded great! Like hawkze said, its kind-of loud, but very deep and smooth. Actually, I have it for sale along with a magnflow resonator if you are interested. I just need to clean out my basement!

I'm not sure if it's still the case but Thermal gets their resonators and mufflers from Magnaflow as does/did CompTech.

BTW, there isn't a Magnaflow ES Oval, the ES designation is from something else but not Magnaflow.

Here's some more info http://sms-products.com/Exhausts.html

ES Oval is not the same as magnaflow. it's an exhaust all its own.

back from the shop with new magnaflow muffler installed....

in my opinion it sounds like a big pile of dog **** with rice chunks in it....

very dissapointed altogether, unfortunately i couldnt afford $400 for a complete new apexi WS so i gambled with this, ended up costing me $200

its loud at somewhat ricey at low RPM and quiet above 5000 rpm ?? wtf ??

plus it chackles/flutters when decelerating .. blap p blab blap

so in my review this muffler gets NO stars

i have a resonated test pipe in place of the cat, and a pretty large resonator that was part of the apex piping ... going to have to put a cat on soon for emmissions
