It doesn't melt or anything? How does it hold up over time when used in a downpipe?

Looks pretty cool.

i have really marketed it as NA but i would love to get some turbo guys to try it out. it is a special material, withstands up to 600 deg. which is ok for NA. need someone to test for turbo for me

you just said that it doesnt look like itll melt.
maybe you meant melt-resistant?

like i posted in my other thread in the performance sponsors section i held a propane torch in it on high for 5 mins and nothing happened

the inside of the tubing is not the same material nor does it look close or feel like the ouside that you see there.

Fyi...The temperature in exhaust piping where the OEM Flex Section is located, will run between 700 - 800 deg. F.

...Your "material" is only good to 600 degrees F?

that is why it is still in the test phase. materials are always rated less than they can perform. my torch is hotter than 1000deg. what does that mean then?

looks like a sweet product

how does it do with noise? and leaks? never any problems with it coming off? does it compress while staying straight?

im also wondering if instead of creating a new dp for a home brewed turbo setup if you could keep part of the dp and flange from the junkyard turbo and just hook up this bad boy for the turn.... maybe im crazy...

although the concept is very nice, and beneficial to N/A vehicles, I am weary of trying it on my turbo car.

My EGT guage has hit 600 C (1112 F) on normal freeway driving going a little bit uphill. 700 (1292 F) and 800 C (1472 F) is not unheard of either.

Good luck..

*sits back waiting for someone to prove me wrong so I can buy a bunch!!!*

will not reduce noise

doesnt need to be compressed, thats why i sell many lengths

still in testing phase, but the clamps are industrial strength ones, not the average worm gear ones.

you could probably run something like that

i need to send out a section to a h-t member soon for a turbo write up
