Default New replacement for the R =)

Hello all!

As some of you know, my 96 rhd itr has been for sale for quite some time. Since I put it up for sale, I stopped going to track events so I could keep "harsh miles" to a minimum. I finally decided to take it off the street and park it, to preserve its current condition.

I picked up the following to take it's place. I can't wait until she's broken in so I can track her. It's gonna take some time getting used to shifting with my right hand again....not to mention a rwd config.

I was messing with the pic in photoshop...it's not rhd and yes, the washer squirters are still there .

No, not leasing. I'm actually going through my credit union due to a better APR.

only 30 bucks more a month for the S....full coverage. I am damn near 30 with a good driving record, so not sure if that makes somewhat of a difference.

I'm really surprised to hear that your S2000 costs more to insure than your ITR did. Since you had a 96, what was your Integra registered/insured as? A reconstructed GSR?

I have a 2000 S2000 and a 1993 Prelude VTEC. Both have identical insurance coverage levels on them. Both are listed as low milage "pleasure" cars on my policy. But believe it or not, the older Prelude is has slightly HIGHER premiums than the S2000 does.

But for comparison's sake, when I bought the S2000 about 1.5 years ago, I also priced out insurance on a 2000 ITR, and my insurer (Allstate) quoted me that the ITR was about 30% MORE to insure than the S2000...

That's an optional oem front lip....

Love the Rio man... If I was still working and not just going to school I would pick one up as my ITR's stable mate...

Happy drivings

Why did you go out and buy a slower car? j/k

I've been looking at one of these, but the depreciation is a little too much for my liking right now.

Not to mention I won't be driving for the next 90 days thanks to the courts...

Odd.

When I got my S2K, the insurance was approximately $600 cheaper a year to insure.

I was issued a U.S. VIN for the car. Being that the car is a late 95/early 96 model and we didnt see the ITR until 97; I was given a different VIN. Well can't really get into it, but you get the picture.
