Need new tune to turn up the boost?
I got my car tuned w/o a boost controller on the normal wastegate spring setting. I now have a boost controller and would like to know if i turn up the boost like 3 psi, will i need a new tune or will the ECU adjust to extra air. I currently have it tuned w/ a Hondata S200.

Tune for max safe power then you can adjust down. Example: Tune for 300whp let's say it happens at 16PSI...that means you can run anything under 16PSI and you'll be fine. I usually like to run low boost Daily driving and when a race comes along I hit my high boost setting for a run, that way i don't stress my engine everyday, but I get a lot of power when I need it

alright thanx, i would only turn up the boost a few psi for a track day, then put it back down. I was also thinking of getting a wideband to monitor the a/f ratio.
