i have a del sol thatt needs some body work and was thinking that maybe i should change it up a bit. I was thinking of putting the 92-95 hatch front end on it will it swap over and if it will what do i need or where can i research to find out a good place to look for some more info?

Alright guys Ive been searching for a while now and have lots of results and the conclusion Im getting is, There are a lot of pics with it done but everytime someone flames the guy asking everyone tells him to search and no one gives the link.

If I cant find it I doubt a new guy will have better luck then me so can the next person to chime in here with there .02 cents just give the link to the how to otherwise shut the hell up and move on. I got 163 results on "del sol conversion" not one post was a how to and not one gave the link on how to do it.

Lets end this once and for all, Once I get the link myself Ill throw it in my Del Sol post with any other how to's I feel warrent to be there that partain to the Sol only. If anyone has one they feel belong there just post it to the thread. Otherwise I'll post it up in the original post.

Del Sol's look secksy with the eg front end (IMO) .

 

I think the eg front end looks better than the oem front on the delsol! looks sexy as hell

I was really hoping someone might know if u cut the top corner on the eg fenders would it bolt over? I don't need it to be perfect just good enough to look ok and if not does anyone know of a bodyshop that might do the welding job in the northern va area? Don't need paint just the cutting and welding that exceeds my body knowledge. Thanks for ur help ahead of time

if ur gonna do ek swap do the 00 front instead of the 96-98 it looks wack..plus i seen 00 fronts on sol's and they look much sexier then that pic of photoshoped looks uneven and big

that nice...consider the stock delsol bumper look almost like EK already

 

Youll need EG fenders, EG hood, EG bumper, i dont know about the radiator support but i am guessing yes. EG headlights and that's about it. I had the whole front end of a EG but i already sold it sorry i sold it cheap too. I think the EG front end on the Del Sol looks great it makes the del sol look alot better. If i ever buy one it would have to have a EG front end

you need the radiator support...

Once you have the new one on and welded on you can start bolting up the hood, headlights, bumper.

You will need to cut a portion of the Eg's fender and weld them to your sol's stock fenders.
