cruising on the highway, downshifted into 3rd going 80 (i was out of it ) it went to about 7500rpms, then floored it. hit the rev limiter twice. i have fuel and boost cut though.

could any damage have occured?

 

Its doubtful, thats what the rev-limiter is there for..
