ok, i tried searching, maybe i didn't search well enough. but, i was just curious, are all p28 ecu's the same, whether it came from a vtec or non-vtec? i have a gsr and someone's tryna sell me a p28 chipped ecu from a civic w/ a LS motor. will this work with my hondata still?

 

Any chipped P28 can run a VTEC or non-vtec motor.

You can also convert many of the non-vtec ECUs to be a P28 ecu essentially with a few very basic components.
