just swapped a 98 itr motor in my 93 civic vx. car idles rough, but smoothes out as i give it throttle. cel is telling me code 21 and 22. vtec spool solenoid and vtec pressure valve. does any1 know how to fix this. where is the vtec spool solenoid and vtec pressure valve located. maybe i have the wrong plugs hooked up...

I had a CEL 21 too, check your wiring at your ecu harness. Mine just wasn't touching enough. After that check your solenoid, its at the end of the valve cover at the foreward most cam

 

ok im down to cel 22 only. have no idea how to fix this one
