Default CD player code... have serial# if someone can take a stab at it.

I know the "Search ****'s" are dying to jump in on this one.. anyways, I have a oem cd player I took out of my old teg, I got a new deck so I gave it to my bro, I hooked it up today and its throwing the security code.... I cant get the number out of my teg because its a DA and the cd player is from a 97 DC.. anyways here is the number I was able to take off of the cd player, if anyone can help it would be great..

thanks,

Model # 390100-ST7-C500
Ref. # CQ-JH9611A
Serial # 96G302013

they will check the vin num of the car....and if the same cd player dont come up they wont give it to you.

vice versa...by checking the cd player...they will know its not the same vin as the car.

go to a junkyard and get a recipt saying you bought it from them....then acura wont have a problem doing that....

</TD></TR></TABLE>I have never had them check the Vin # at Honda or Acura, if they ask, and they have, what a 93 HU is doing in a 94, I play the duck and say I don't know, it's the one that came in the car, they reply, it must be a replacement or something. and give me the code, I have even told them I got it at a garage sale, they still give me the code. 94
