I wouldn't recommened putting HID bulbs into OEM EG headlights, it would look horrible and blind everyone.
I would recommend doing a retrofit. That website will give you all the information you need.

Don't slap an HID "kit" in your stock headlamps and call it a day. It will look like *** and blind everyone else on the road. And if you go with a ricer kit that uses 8000K bulbs you'll have spent a few hundred bucks for a set of really expensive ricer bulbs.

Exactly. Projectors are installed within your existing headlamp. It's very hard to notice, but you get the full HID effect without blinding other people on the road.

lol. i got a mculloch hid kit on my EJ8 and i dont hink they look horrible. And its 5600K not 8000K, that looks ridiculous! ANYWAY i hate it because it blinds ppl but i am currently working on a headlamp project. Anyway, glare protector doesn't do much of anything but you'll love the HID kit! I did! Its up to you, and your preference, it's your car, and make it the way you like it!
my 2 cents
Note: EVERYTHING you do to your car will be called "rice"
so dont worry about what everyone says. Its your car!!
