How does the SMSP header compare to the Spoon or Toda header ?
Toda header ... too bad you weren't at the races this past weekend ... an all motor civic h/b with 1.8 GSR which I built ran against a low 11 sec DSM AWD, Twin turbo FD3S and a B20 prepped Civic hatch with 150 shot ... beat all 3 of them ... when racing the FD3S second tiem after they pumped boost up to 21psi and upped ante to $1500, he snapped both front axles ... in 4th gear. Unbelievable midrange power since he put the Toda header on 3 weeks ago .. he had spoon 4-1 prior, ran low 12's with Spoon ... GOD knows what he runs now.

Maybe you can get that B20 prepped Civic hatch with 150 shot to come to your dyno day this weekend and straighten that car out? Something doesn't sound right there.

SMSP header compared to Toda is the like comparing the Jun cam to Toda. They both kick its *** all up and down the block with no end to the pain in sight.

actually, according to the owners of the 150shot B20 JUN stage 3 setup h/b, their car is all motor. The shop name is Top Secret here in NJ, the car is all motor supposedly yet there is the typical smoke which comes out of exh after they hit 3rd gear, a big bazzoka tube in the rear hatch whcih is fully stripped, no amp for the tube, stock honda tape deck radio. Before the race they would only open the hood to very few people to search car, when I goto the races, they refuse to open the hood for me
... so some insider said 150shot ... basically everyone knows they shoot, and they would never admit it cause they'll look stupid getting beat by a true 1.8L all motor car, the car runs street drags and breaks tires in 3rd gear when they hit the fumes... the engine revs jsut as fast as a turbo car ... but its all motor, yah right ... after the dyno day this weekend, I'll post a dyno chart of the other h/b with toda C's and toda header, which I built... if the owner approves.
Oh yeah, one time I caught them with the hood up, quick glance at the distributor shows it was retarded all the way ... for that to be in sync with cam timing you'd need a thick *** headgasket (which would lower the compression alot) in order to make up for that much timing retard ... guys in the street don't put these tech tricks to use cause they are ignorant, figure there are maybe 2 or 3 guys who would know what to look for, they know exactly who I am and would never dare open the hood for me to check cause I would make them look so stupid in front of everyone.

Tests have shown the SMS header to be better than other production style headers. I think SMS and Hi-Tech are the best available.
