whats the max hp a t3 turbo can do. the ones you normally find off the junkyard in volvo's from the mid to late 80's. something like with a 45compressor side, and 43 exhaust

sorry for the extremely noob question.

well, the 60 trim is good to about 300 crank.

250. everything after the that turbo blows hot air. i have it on my car now. and it takes like 9 psi to make 180 on uberdata!!!!. its tiny.

That was the first turbo i threw on my teg it was .42/.48 and it was very fun turbo. I ran 8 psi and i got full boost by 3k and it pulled all the way to redline.

Yeah those turbos are pretty small, have to have quite high boost to get some good whp. Save it for them sohc's
