91 wagon rear disc conversion
i have a 91 accord ex wagon which now has rear discs from a 93 accord ex sedan (w/abs), with no other changes i had good pedal but no power. tried modifying/removing proportioning valve and got stopping power (although uneven) but pedal is on floor. changed master cylinder (1" vs 15/16") to 93 ex (same donor) and got basically no change. can anyone advise me how to get my pedal back and keep stopping power???
I dont think 91 EX Wagons had ABS?? but if they did you need to check if the sensor hooked up right and everything. IF not you could discard the ABS deals on the 93 rear discs. Have you tried re bleeding the system?
91 wagons were disc/drum, i have bled system several times with a power bleeder. i have gone back to 91 master cylinder and proprtioning valve and
now have good pedal height but brakes are high effort. i believe the problem
is in the proportioning valve which is for a disc/drum car not 4 wheel disc.
did honda ever make a 4 wheel disc car w/o abs? if so maybe that valve
would work. thanks in advance for any help!!!

Yea i wasnt sure if wagons were the same as the sedans on 4 gens. When you mean a lot of pedal effort do you mean you need to step on it hard?
