Default New bike again. Finally a Hon Da!

Not mine...my roommate is now a new rider.

1986 Nighthawk 450. This isn't the bike, but it's damn close. Same color but ours is grimier.

This is going to be a nice way for me to get my hands dirty. It also satisfies my lust for a naked V-twin bike since the SV left me. It's much better to take passengers on than my bike, obviously.

The bike in the pic is not the bike we picked up.

Our is a little less visually stunning, but mechanically quite sound. Picked it up for $750...less than one-tenth of what my R6 cost.

The thing already sounds cool. It makes a lot more noise than my R6, especially just idling. It's very nice and makes nice popping sounds, but I want to get a pipe or something for it.

Nice little project. When you're saying it satisfies your lust for a naked V-Twin,you're not saying that one is a V-Twin are you? Cuz it isn't.lol

True, it's certainly not a V. I mis-spoke.

No problem. My very first streetbike was similar to the style of that one.It was a GS 400e (The slightly more sporty of the GS family) and I loved it! Good old in-line twin..Easy as hell to work on.Enjoy!
