AZ NASA Event @ Firebird East Event Pics
Hey guys, thought I share some pics on the past weekend's track event here in sunny AZ!
It started out windy as heck but it calmed down during the afternoon sessions. Chris (onyx00) was the only other R owner that ran the track but Tony (delinquent) showed up later in the day just to hang out. All in all, it was a great day for racing. There were a couple of incidents that involved a camero that lost one of its wheels on the track and a mustang that rolled. The guys involved were ok but it sure made us very aware during the sessions after. Anyways, hope to see more AZ HT members out on the track!

Thanks for the pics!Saturday was such a nice day, it just kills me that I had to miss this event. Glad you guys had a good time. Sorry to hear about the "incidents."

I didn't see it happen but I was just sitting around at that time, checking out the other cars when a cloud of dust rolled all over me. Turned around and there it was, sitting with no left rear tire in sight! I don't think that they would've forgotten to put the lug nuts on!
Boy, if that's the case, I don't think they'll do that again!

Hey, any of you guys making the long trek down to Tucson for the autox this Sunday? I'll be there and was just wondering if I'll see any friendly faces
Unfortunately not this weekend, I won't be. I am making a long trek up to Pahrump, Nevada (40+ miles outside of Las Vegas) for a private track event @ Rupert Bragg-Smith's Spring Mountain Track. Looks to be an event of fun fun fun!
There's gonna be one other ITR, a RSX-S, S2K, a bunch of NSXs, 911s, E36/E46 M3s, Z06s, etc. Since there's a limit of 25 cars only, we get to run the track till we drop from exhaustion!
Maybe next time, I'll try to make it down to Tucson. Anyway, you have fun too!
