Does anyone have any experience with the Tenzo Type-R Seat? it looks great, just like the Recaro SRD but that damn tenzo embroidery annoys the hell out of me, is this something you can cut out and remove? or is it pretty much stuck there? how is the quality of these? sorry for asking, but they're only 350..have to know.

The quality is crap - most people here will bash it without knowing it, just since it's TenzoR...but I have sat in one in a friend's GSR. You're honestly better off with a stock ITR seat, or a true bucket.

Actually, that's not cheap. The price difference between these and the Torinos is less than I would have exptected, and Tenzo is crap. If you MUST get a reclinable seat, at least get a good one, IMHO.

IF you must get a Tenzo-R seat, you might as well go to your local parts store and get them to order a no-name Formosa-spec seat for you. It would be the exact same as the Tenzo, w/o the "brand-name" prices!!

Save up and just get recaro or sparco. You'll thanky yourself down the line since they'll last longer.

actually they arent that bad, id take em over my stock seats any day
my friend has a set in red and let me borrow them cuz his car is out of commision and i think they are very comfortable. the tenzo r name kills it . but they are nice seats for the price. he got them for $400 for the set shipped brand new.

I heard the rally style was more comfortable. Also I heard you couldn't use the stock seatbelt with the seat.

The UKDM ITR has JDM ITR Recaros, this seat is a cheap, low-quality copy for those who want the JDM look without the JDM price.

Most people who think they're nice need to sit in a Recaro/Momo/Sparco/etc. You get what you pay for. No one ever said modding cars would be a cheap hobby.

This seat is crap. I have take a seat in them at the SEMA show in Vegas and it is not good sitting in there compared to my stock SRDs.

Just find one and sit in it. If you like it buy it. Everyone has a different preference for seats. Each person has a unique body build so not all seats fit the same. It's like buying a helmet.
