What Type of oil do I but in a GS-R Tranny? Sorry for asking a dumb question, but I really don't know and put the wrong thing in.....

 

Buy syncro mesh good stuff for your tranny, actually its the best prevents grinds stuff like that

 

If the tranny is in good condition I would just use Honda MTF fluid. the syncro mesh is expensive and if theres nothing wrong with it I dont belive you should use it, Theres something simlier to it tho for good trannys to keep them that way. I just dont remember off the top of my head.

If you want to use oil its 5w30 to my knowledge

 

HMTF or SM if the tranny is alittle beat up.

 

where can you get "synchro-mesh"?

 

Syncromesh, Oreilly's or Autozone carry it...

 

do you notice a difference with syncromesh??.....i just use honda mtf.
