Default Stock JDM Itr dyno sheet.

I figured I would post a dyno sheet of a stock jdm itr I tuned.
Primary reason I posted this was to show what kind of midrange power you can gain from just a little bit of tuning.

Keep in mind that the intake temps were 130 deg & the dynojet was reporting 96 deg outside, gotta love florida heat

Specs:
Stock JDM itr motor.
Stock USDM cast exhaust manifold.
Stock Civic si air box.
Custom 2.5 inch exhaust.
Skunk2 camgears
Phearable.net chipped ecu

I have tuned several JDM itr motors to make mid 180s. But they had multiple bolt ons such as a header, intake & mandrel bent exhaust.

It would be one thing if I wasnt a honda-tech sponsor.
I made posts like this back even when I didn't publicly offer ecus/tuning services etc.

Stock ecu, cam gears, FPR, DC sports 4-1, cat, SMSP exhaust.

I'm planning on putting it back on a dynojet again with a Mugen ECU, 280 cc injectors and a Walbro pump (and possibly a VAFC).

Your stock injectors will be fine, so will your stock fuel pump.

Look into crome, uberdata or hondata. It would be a much better investment then a vafc.

Possibly, but last time on the Mustang dyno with the Mugen ECU and raised fuel pressure, the tech looking into the engine compartment said the fuel pressure gauge started fluttering at the end of the dyno run, probably in the 8500-9000 rpm range.

I've also got an AEM wideband in the car at the moment.
It's been interesting swapping back and forth between the Mugen And USDM ecu's.

Can't say this is stock, cause the stock exhaust has bottlenecks that go down to 1 7/8th and I'm sure it's restricting big time compared to even a crappy 2.5 inch exhaust. And then the ECU... Even a VAFC will gain a bunch over stock. Not to mention the adj cam gears.

MY point is this not a stock setup and should have been listed as lightly Modded.
I understand your point of tuning it, but you should have shown a before & after if that was the case.

It's no different...but there's also nothing wrong with what you're doing right now.

On the right side of that page, you'll find a free image resizer power tool.

It's a neat little free and completely reliable Windows XP power tool released by Microsoft.

Mark,

You made very good power considering the fact that your motor is not heavily modified. That's very impressive for one hour of tuning.
