04 accord 6-speed V6
Ok, im looking into buying one of these acccord 6-speeds, but the only thing that pesters me is that someone i know told me that in cali, he owns one and never puts in anything but regular gas...is that ok for this car or does it require premium fuel? I know it might sound like a dumb question to some but i really have no clue...
Thanks in advance guys.

To paraphrase the owners manual:
Unless you're going to drive like a grandma at engine speeds below 1000 rpm knocking will not be a problem. Use 86 or higher equivalent fuel.
From working in service:
Unless you are constantly going to be racing this car putting anything higher than 86-87 octane in it is a waste on money. And if you're more of a normal driver using 91-92 octane will actually speed buildup of softcarbon in the EGR and engine.

Naw, it's not a high enough compression motor to require it. The ECU is more than capable of adjusting A/F mixtures and timing quickly enough to avoid pinging.
Compare compression ratios on the 2 cars, higher compression usually requires higher octane.
When I had the stock 9:1 ratio on my 350 I could run 89 octane (mid grade) with no problems. When I bumped to 10.75:1 I had to step up to 92 and if I was really gonna run the car, ie. speed trips to the coast. I had to use an octane booster.
