Default 99 Prelude Radiator Fan Not Coming On - Help!!!

I need help with this situation. My friend drives a 99 Prelude and his radiator fan doesn't come on. The only time that it comes on is that when you turn on the A/C. If its a sensor where is it at? This problem has made us just scratch our head for an hour already!

Your coolant sensor for the fan might be dead. I think it is under the dis. one is for ecm and one is for the gauage. if you are not sure just buy one or ask the parts store for one and they will show you. then you will know what it looks like.
its cheap you might just want to change it.

that's not necessarily true

i would definately try to figure out, why your cooling fans are not coming on? maybe you have a bad thermo switch, that's on the thermostat housing

all you have to do is take the clip off the sensor, run a wire from one side of the sensor to the other side and then they will stay on constantly.believe me your car will run alot cooler!

well its not going to hurt your car but you will ruin the fan motor pretty quickly. are there two fans, one for ac, and one for engine cooling or just one?

not only does it make it run cooler but it makes it warm up a lot slower which isnt good obviously and youll use more gas since it takes longer to get to operating temp.
