Default Camber Correction Kit?

Last time I had my car alligned after I lowered it, they said wy camber was within spec and that I did not need a camber kit. Would a camber kit still be helpful to keep the camber a the optimum degree? My car is lowered about 2 inches on GC coil overs.

IMO camber kits are a waste of money. That's what they are for though, to fix camber issues. So an snwer to your question would be yes.

Why are they a waste of money when it saves premature wear of very expensive tires?

when they did an alighnment test did they give the spec sheet. i dont think so.a 2" drop will most definitely effect negative camber. you will notice the inside of your rear tires wear differently than your front.camber kits will in fact give your tires back their natural life

They are a waste of money because you dont need them. If you want to aviod premature wear on your tires rotate them regularly. Unless you are roasting your tires all the time or something. All 3 of my integras were lowered and I have never used a camber kit. The tires wear fine, and my cars get driven hard and then driven to work. Don't waste your money man.

no matter if you rotate them every week the insides of you tires a going to wear. unless you ride on some tires that are not derectional. don't know how to spell.

Whatever, I disagree. I have ran directional tires on all my lowered cars. I have always paid a little more to get them rotated and balnced regularly. It's your loss.

Technically you should use a camber kit if you drop more than 1.5" but thats just the rule of thumb I've heard. If everyone has experience...then I guess you don't really need to bother.
