Default DC5-5 22mm Rear Sway Bar

Is anyone running this bar on thier ep3? How is it? Would anyone recommend getting a bigger bar?

My buddy with a ITR 22mm on a 05 Si is running that bar. I sold it to him a while ago and he's loving it.

The first thing I tried was having the Type S bars on the EP3, front and rear. I felt that was OK, but not awesome.

Next was to put the DC5 ITR rear bar on the car. This was OK, but the Type S bar on the front wasn't big enough with the big bar on the back.

My solution for me, personally, was to go back to the USDM Si front sway bar and keep the DC5 ITR rear bar.

In combination with the Mugen SS suspension, I feel this is a very nice setup for a daily driver/commuter.

Thanks for the replies. I think im going to try the ITR bar. My only concern was that i'd be unhappy and want to get a bigger bar. It sounds that the ITR bar will be perfect for what im looking for.

Hype S front and R rear bar is the best OEM solution.

I still like the OEM USDM EP3 Si bar on the front better than the thinner Type S bar. The Type S bar will let you throw the car around a cone faster, but the front feels a little weak on longer, sweeping high speed turns, which is what I'd experience more often in daily life daily driving.

But what do I know? I paid for custom valved Showa.

i agree with george. i kept the front stock, but i picked up a used 21mm progress rear bar from an rsx owner. with the konis and eibachs, combined with the wider rubber, the rear tightens it's line much easier in rapid transitions. it helped to balance out the understeer, though i think the shock adjustments were a bigger factor. the handling is far more neutral. too big of a front sway on a fwd mac suspension just muddies the understeer if there isn't any negative camber to help out.
