well my old moldings were faded and dented and didnt feel like fixing them so i..

before:


bought jdm thin moldings:




thanks passwordjdm, i love these moldings already, much nicer then the old ones

mothers "back to black" works good with restoring moldings blackness. but nice purchase otherwise.

i couldnt justify the money into jdm thin moldings...

however!

if i had a car as nice as yours, i wouldnt think twice.

any excuse to go jdm.

i couldnt justify ever spending that much on moldings. i'd rather have stock moldings to save me from door dings but whatever floats your boat... this <u>IS</u> the appearance forum.

but then again, thats the entire purpose of side moldings, to reduce dings/dents to your actual door, but whocares, car looks very nice with those thin sides

They are thinner hence the name "JDM thin moldings"

well obvisouly , i believe he meant the fading, you cant tell much of a difference in the pics

i personally like the thinner moldings much better, it flows much nicer with the car and in person looks 100% better.

that's what I was thinking, if someone hits the car with the door, i'd want to have some protection...looks good though!

does it really matter tho, i mean seriously i had a vx with no moldings, and type r have no moldings either i dont think going with a thinner molding, which isnt completely flat is that big of a deal but to look cleaner
