Default Kyb GR-2 vs Kyb AGX vs Tokico Illumina

I have Eibach Sportline springs on my stock shocks and I think it's time to upgrade my shocks since it's the summer time.

So what do you guys think will make a better combination with the Eibach Sportlines?

Thanks in advance.

*edit* Btw, I have a 4th gen 95 Si if that helps any.

KYB GR-2 shocks are basically OEM replacements.

I second that I have the Tokico Illuminas and they are great. But it's all personal preference. Good luck making your decision.

the only way is the KONI way..........for an extra $100 u get indefinite adjustment and the spring perches are able to be moved up and down, trust me u'll get bored with only like 5 settings KONI'S

You are right!, but he aint asking about koni's. he is asking about the three that he posted about. To the thread start, you get what you pay for. Gr-2 is basically an oem replacement. Agx's lose there warrenty if you drop your car over 1.5. From the three that YOU asked for, i would go with the illumina's. Or you can save up for something else. Search next time. This subject has been cover plenty of times.

i think the kyb agx are too bouncy, way too bouncy! i have Tokico Illumina and i think they ride alot better and smoother than any of the kyb junk!! i'd prefer Tokico Illumina over kyb anyday!!

Ya... thread is old, Im bored...Ive got a 94 accord EX w Tokiko illuminas, and Skunk2 coil overs...with the shocks set on 4 - the car rides like a caddilac, and stays flat too. Other suspension mods are Sprint Front and rear Camber kit, Megan strut bars, urethane bushings... 17 " MSR 041s with Proxies 4s and the thing hangs like its on ****** rails (it is DUUUUUMPED too)- dont forget to cut the donuts at the top of the strut, or the alignment!!!

I really like the ride.

Konis are the **** though-
