koni and H&R
I am having a dilema with which shock and spring combo to choose.
I really want Koni yellow and H&R but I heard that KYB AGX and H&R will do the pretty much the same job but for less money. (I will never know the answer to that one technically)
My biggest concern is going to low.
SO my question is, if I buy the H&R sport springs which claim a 1.4 inch drop, will I get just that with either of the shocks I choose? I don't want to go lower then 1.5 cause I have a kit and want to avoid scraping. So will the Shock make a difference and will it throw off the spring companies lowering claims of 1.4 once the shocks are put in.
Thanks

Both shocks will lower as much as the stock shocks if properly installed. Koni's have adjustable perches so you could technically make it a little higher. However, mine have only a lower perch on the front (as opposed to 3 perches in the back) so you could only really raise the rear... I know you can get konis with more perches though if you want. I have eibach pro-kits and koni yellows, the lowering is not too bad. I have a kit and I have to go pretty slow over a lot of stuff but I make it over all the speed bumps on my campus and I only scrape occasionally. It's not that bad as long as you are careful, just watch out for your exhaust tip.
