Pop goes the sub
Well I decided to put some Type Rice into my trunk... got my Hifonics BX1205D (450W RMS @ 4-ohm, 900W RMS @ 2-ohm, 1200W RMS @ 1-ohm) and my 15" Alpine Type-R (DVC 2-ohm so I can run the amp @ 1-ohm 
) in my trunk. Holy **** this ****** is loud 
My buddy & I figured we'd blow up some of his old Pyle subs since they were damaged already. Like this one... it plays, but yeah it's damaged I ran a 60hz test tone through the amp... slowly turning the volume up. It started smoking around 23~24 on the deck volume (0 to 35 ) and went pop @ 26 or so

BTW, the sub is rated 300W RMS @ 4-ohm and 600W peak (and I was running the amp @ 4-ohm).
