hahaha the main relay is clicking. (only thing i know that goes clic click clicilcllciclillclic)
Either your battery is dead or your starter is stuck and stealing all the power when you're trying to start the car.

If you aren't going to post anything that helps hit situation please dont post.
As far as your clicking problem. I am assuming you have 1990 crx dx. This means you have a clutch swtich. Its near the pedal assembly. I think you need to just connect the 2 wires for the clutch switch, but somebody please correct me if I am wrong.
You might want to make sure you car battery is still good.
Next, check your starter. Simply, put the ignition switch to the 'On' position. Now, on the starter, there are 2 connectors going to it. One is held on by a bolt, the other is a female connector. While the female connector is connected to the starter, put a screw driver (preferably a long one) onto the metal of the female connector. Then connect the screw driver to the positive side of the car battery, however you can, once you do that the car should start to crank. If the car doesn't start up, you need a new starter.
If it starts up, it is probably the ignition. I haven't had that problem yet, so I dont know how to test the ignition system.

That makes sense, either that or the starter is getting funky. It doesn't matter what kind of vehicle you have, if it isn't the main relay as NikoZai is saying, it might just be the starter motor getting weak... That's ALWAYS fun regardless of make or model!
Try lightly whacking it (the starter) with a rubber malet when you try and start it. That might get it working prior to replacing it.

You offered real advice? Not in the first post. I am telling him what to do to help him out. Your posts didn't help him out at all.
If you wish to finish this conversation, pm me.
EDIT: except for ur second post.

Probably the battery and the starter solenoid is going banannas.
That's my guess with the clickety-click noise.
If it were making the noise like clickety-clieck-clack-berwang-shampampababloooba-spizzzza-spizzzza-rizzzam-bam-a-lam-a-ding-dizzzzzambo-fricakalack-a-chizzampolooooooombamboo-dewwwaaarrrrrrttzandandambloam-veeeee-veeee-verrrtkaling-chincham-boof-recrandooom-rezak-queeeeeertzz-snizaps-yo-yo-yogi-bizzear-weeeeeee-weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-weeeeeeeee
well, that would plainly mean that you dimpcoinfluzalator was a little loose.

If its clicking, its not the main relay. A bad main relay usually lets it turn over but not crank because there is no fuel going.
Just clicking, sounds to me like a starter, if its clicking fast.

yeah, cars with a low battery like to click like that, so your batterys probably dead, or bad connection, bad starter, as you've heard already.
i think pogiTSI had the best advice, try to push start it and pop the clutch, see if it makes it start.

let me clear something up, i said the main relay is clicking - because it is.
I didn't say it is broken. it's supposed to be clicking like that, if it was bad, it wouldnt do a damn thing. It wouldn't make a sound.
So don't go replacing your main relay, its your battery, grounds or starter as stated.
Everyone's so mean to this guy lol i love it
