Falken Azenies
Alright I looked around a bit and read the FAQ ect ect...
16" - 215/45/16, 205/45/16, 225/45/16, 205/50/16 <---- and saw that.
Well my tire choices are the RT-615 and RT-215... because I am sick of my stock crappy pirellies. The only problem is I am not sure what tire size to get as I am new to the tire world haha. I am going to run on my stock 16" wheels for now due to money Help me out here are my choices... I am ordering tomorrow.
RT-615
205/40R16 83W
RT-215 (whatever is available)
205/55R16
215/45ZR16
I think that is all available? Do the 215/45/16s sound best??
Thanks for any input

Hankook makes the Ventus for 225/45R16. They have very similar characteristics to the Azenis, but deal with heat better from what people are saying. I'll definitely be switching to Hankook once my Azenis wear out.

R2S Z212 is the tyre Hankook makes that is close to the Azenis.
The RT215 is becoming hard to find, and the RT615 is expensive compared to the R2S Z212.
I can't say the Z212 is the equivalent of the RT615, because I haven't driven on the RT615. However, I have been to Shenandoah Circuit with the Z212, and in my opinion they are at least as good as the old RT215, and they do not melt on the track the way some of the RT215 seem to melt.
I don't want to be seen to push Hankook too much, but I think they should be in your list of tyres to consider.

Yes, the RT615 was designed to address some of the comments that used to be made about the RT215. Overheating and water dissipation, that kind of thing.

When you mention the Ventus, are you talking about the R2S/Z212 or one of the older designs that is also called Ventus?
