Default VAFC problem

Ok I have a 92 accord with an h22a in it I hooked up my vtec controller and now it wont let me rev past 6800 does anyone know what the problem could be, the only code i'm throwing is a code 41 which it has been on before I hooked up the vtec controller.

Not positive (just guessing) but I don't believe the VAFC allows you to bump your stock rev limit settings.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong

check the wire connections going to the ecu esp. the vtec singal wire. I had just about the same prob. with my v-afc it just turned out to be a bad sodder. another solution would possibly be resetting all the setting set on the v-afc and see if that helps good luck

not to try and make you sound ignorant, but check the easy stuff like making sure it's set to 4 cyl. and not 6 (i made this mistake)...and no, the vafc doesn't allow alteration of the rev limiter...
