is the d 16 in the 97 hatch the same as in the 91 crx si? wats the difference

 

97 hatch would be d16y8 sohc vtec or d16y7 non vtec depending on trim of the civic. yes there is a difference, 91 crx si=d16a6 non vtec, for the most part everything is interchangeable..

 

is there any tips or problems that i might run into besides the dist.. for my mini me swap.

Also is there any tips that you guys can help me out with, for hooking up the vtec controller to the pg7 ecu? thanks philliecrx
