i picked up a used jdm b20b long block off of ebay ($112) for my build. the seller said i had a bad rod bearing in the #1 cylender. i dident care seeing as i was sending the block out to get re-sleeved anyways. i am thinknig of going with eagle crank and rods but i was wondering, will i need to replace those crank caps also? is it normal with a spund rod bearing for the stuff to burn black? the other 3 cyl look normal and all the cly walls look ok.

also is it worth saving this crank and rods, i know there prob junk but do they have enough value to try to repair?
