ECU programming?
Overall, is it better to program your ECU or just buy one from example: Spoon, Mugen? I was wondering? People keep making a big deal and was wondering if it is worth the money? In your opinion did you notice a difference in ecomomy, performance whether autocrossing, drag, street driving? What programs worked best for you.
depends on where you get your chips or programming done. my chips for example are copies from JDM ECUs, so what spoon sold to customers I have..some are rather custom and differ from stock. as far as gas mileage depends, but expect it to drop a little or alot (mugen program)...on a dyno, my ecus made at least 5whp and as much as 10whp.
Hey eg...what kind of program would you suggest for my setup:
I am going to have
CTR Intake Cam
ITR Exhaust Cam
AEM Gears
ITR/Skunk2 Intake Manifold
I am planning N/A, and want to keep my rev around 8200...dont want the 9k. What would be a good vtec xover in my case, and what kind of pricing can you give me if I send you my PR3?

i only have programs which have either 9.0k rpm revlimit or none...
as far as pricing $110 for rechipping and sending back your ECU (includes two chips)
I offer the following: Mugen, Spoon, Mines, PYR and few custom programs
