Default Headlight bulb question.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good set of replacement bulbs that i could put in my 99 accord. I want a bright headlight bulb. I don't want to pay 50-75 dollars and they suck, but would pay that much if they worked. Any websites where I could order them would be great.

People swear all day by silver stars, i personally think they suck...as i had them on a 4-runner i once owned before retrofitting HID's, the silver stars were junk (some people like them, perhaps better luck with them). I'd say unless your going to upgrade to HID's, just replace your headlights with some stockers...because really, those pretty color bulbs that make them "look" like hids (lol) really do nothing, and actually can negatively effect visibility, especially in the rain.

If you must though...ive heard nothing but good things about PIAA and Raybrig.

Tho I've since converted to HID, I was very pleased with the Sylvania Silver Stars. The only problem I had was with them popping quickly, most likely due to the fact that I had to use H3's for my housings which had a moisture problem. If you are only dealing witht the stock size bulbs, I'd go for it.

If your getting regular bulbs, don't get those 80 or 100W bulbs those would burn/melt your harness. Just stick to the reuglar stock wattage, personally if you want bright headlights I would suggest HID's. They go from $150 to $250 on ebay.

If you want bright headlights i would recommend HID as the above people said. Sylvania Silverstars arent the greatest replacement bulbs. I use some ebay bulbs and works pretty well. I forgot what the company was but I paid 35 i think for low and high beam.

Unless you can angle your headlights to avoid glare, you need to do a retrofit.

http://www.hidplanet.com has forums relating to retrofitting, and when done correctly, looks incredible...

http://www.hid-lights.com/ I did a kit in my accord (97) and I have no glare problems at all and the kit was a good price. I got the x5 kit and love it. Good luck

As Ricerocketdave said, hid-lights.com hooked me up. X5 kit also. Couldn't be happier.
