Finally home! (been gone 1 month); missed Expo5 but met up with lotsa of H-T folk
First, I want to thank Craig (Asspenny) for giving me enough WTDR bandwidth to post all of these pics

I also need to thank Ken (Black R) for watching over my house while I was gone; thanks Kenny!
Started the trip by spending 3 days in Tokyo with my kids; no time to look at car-stuff, but had a great time nonetheless
In Ikebukuro (next to the JR train station):

Shibuya 109; SO many hot Japanese women in there, my head was spinning

BTW, I tried taking some clicky pow! but my camera is just too slow
A few pics from Shibuya crossing - SO many people:

My kids love MOS Burger

We stayed in the Ikebukuro area of Tokyo; basically, its the next ward just north of Shinjuku. Our hotel, the Hotel Grand City, was very nice AND relatively cheap - around 75 bux for a single room, and just a 3-4 min. walk from the JR train station. Ikebukuro also has many nice, inexpensive food choices (beef bowl, curry house, ramen shops) and a fantastic bakery, ANDERSEN, located by the North Exit of the JR Ikebukuro Station:

Mos Burger rules!! I also liked First Kitchen. Its too bad neither was really close to where I was living when I was in Japan.
I get my son the new BLEACH (Anime) game for PSP; it's amazing

My daughter spends half a day inside Shibuya 109, and gets some really nice clothes and loads up on the JDM hair wax:

After 3 days, we leave Japan and head to Hong Kong. I had planned to meet up with Pat (RagingAngel, who moved there from Vancouver, BC), but we couldn't make our schedules fit - SEE YA IN OCTOBER PAT
Did have dim sum EVERY day

Then I had to go to Guangzhou, China - probably the most polluted city on Earth
It's actually a sunny day, but the soot makes it look overcast

My designated ride, an Audi A6, complete with driver

Checking out one of my new samples (this is what i sell for a living)

a LOT more pics to follow...
PS - sorry bout the size of the first series of pics, will resize after i put up all the pics

Check out this bird at my mother in law's house; it can say "GONG XI FA CAI" (Mandarin Chinese for: "Congratulations, and Good Fortune"), the popular greeting used at Chinese New Year:

Here's a video clip (500k) to prove it
http://www.we-todd-did-racing....DE%3D
She also has some cool-**** Buddhist statues:
An exquisitely detailed wood carving

An ancient Tibetan statuette, given to her by Ban-Chan Lama himself

Chinese grain alcohol (about 120 proof); TIME TO GET SH*TFACED

ASSuming I can make it to We-Todd Exblo, Im gonna bring some of this chit so my we-todd buddies can keep warm

next day, my Loooooseboy homies (R you serious and LoooseR) roll in from AZ, and we meet up with Mike, Jay, Yoshi and Leo from Password JDM in a Japanese-style Izakaya restaurant:

Mike and Dan

Mr. and Mrs. R you serious (Jeff and Wato-chan, who looks bored):

Jeff decides to "entertain" us, apparently forgetting that she's a former Jr. Kendo champ

Someone's gettin an ***-whuppin

Jay claims he's just "sunburned" - yeah right

The food:
Yosh shows the right way to eat natto

Gyu-tan which I was shocked to see being eaten by none other than Mr. Fear Factor himself (Mikehonda), who gives it 2

Something a tad more exotic: monkfish liver

The lads start developing a thirst; I lost count of how many pitchers we ordered

Jeff shows us the Looooseboy way of drinking beer

Mike follows suit

The gang, feeling frisky

Leo wonders whut the hell he got himself into...

Next day, dim sum at Sam Woo Seafood in Rowland Hts. with the Loooseboys, Ed, Dennis, Steve, Louie and his wife Leticia

Not normally part of dim sum, but we ordered some steamed prawns since most everyone at the table had not tried them before

Mr. and Mrs. R you Serious; these 2 make a lovely couple

I'm expecting that wedding invite Jeff
Head out of LA, and realize my luggage is SERIOUSLY overweight (international flights allow 70lbs per suitcase, domestic is just 50lbs); Leo from Password JDM comes to the rescue and sends my excess stuff home to me via UPS
AND he gives me a cool Password t-shirt

All in all, I had a great time. I feel lucky to have met so many good people over the years because of Honda-Tech
