Does anyone have any number on the power output of a Drag kit on an 99-00 Si on like 7-8 psi?

 

I would say somewhere around 240-280...with many variables that would raise or lower this

 

a friend of mine has a 00 si with a drag 3 kit at 9 psi. he put down 251 hp and 176 torque. thats with a 3 inch exhaust also.

 

ok thanks. im just bolting the kit on, so i dont have nay tunning or engine managment. i was just seeing roughly what i would make out of the box.

 

untuned on my old engine put down 235 at 6 psi with like a 9:1 afr. i had a bad chip in my p28 and didnt know.

one of my roomates friends put down 247hp @9psi as well. he still needs to get it all tuned out and when he first started runnin it he was only puttin down 213hp. tunning makes all the difference in the world!!!!

this is a really insane power goal from 8psi

thats 16.2whp per pound of boost, you aint getting that from a DRAG kit, you might get that from a peak boost kit or a full race kit, but not from a DRAG, and more than likely not on a b16, maybe on a gsr.

my B16 in my 2000si, made 243@10psi@the wheels, on an MD dyno properly loaded from a the EXACT vehicle weight.
