92 accord, check engine light "ON"

92 accord, check engine light "ON"
After starting the car for 5 minutes the check engine light comes on. Oil, water are OK, does anyone know what functions/circuits this light monitors.

you need to read the code...................under rt side dash below glove box there is a 2 pin connector it might have blue tape around it you need to jump the wires together, put key on and rear the blinks on the instrument cluster a long blink is 10 and a short blink is 1 .let it run at least 2 -3 times make sure there is only 1 code once read post codes here

also might want to just reset the ECU...my cel came on and i had to disconnect the battery for something else and after my cel was off and never came back on...

The Code 12 i think is your EGR. I dunno bout the D flashing 4 times.
