Default Suspension Question?

Hi All,

Does anybody have any ideas on why one corner of my car (96 Civic Coupe) is lower than the rest? The rear passenger side looks as if it is sitting lower than the rest - you can actually see the difference in the gap over the wheel. Could this mean that the shock is busted or could it be something else?
Could it be the spring? (which I'm changing very soon)
Any opinions?

Talk to ye soon

That'd be my guess.

I don't see it being the spring.

Go over to that corner of the car, and put your body weight on it (push down).
Then go to one of the normal corners, and do the same. Did the corner that is lower bounce up and down more? If so, it's the strut.

Yeah, use that method to determine if it's the strut. I have a question though....did you notice this after you did suspension work (i.e.: installing springs/shocks?) Sometimes if you don't set the perches or the bushings correctly, the car might sit uneven.

I haven't done any yet, but I will be next week! I hadn't planned on changing the shocks (struts) as I'm only dropping the car by 30mm - but I guess I will have to change them now!
Any opinions on what shocks are the best value?
I'm using Cobra Performance Springs (european brand)

Thanks.
