rpm tach off

my rpm tach is off by 1000 rpm. when i redline it its at nine. is there any way to fix this. its an si tach. thanx

I have an SiR II cluster that does the same thing. I've been told that the voltage is off.

damn, i say try and find a new gauge cluster, sorry i dunno, but that **** is way off 1000 . damn!

mine too. I heard the only way is to get a new cluster. I have an eg so it was only $50 for me. I haven't installed it yet but I hope it solves the problem

For me, 6700rpms is actuall 8K!!

I heard that Honda dealers can recalibrate it. I'm thinking about that. I don't wanna go back to a USDM cluster, nor order another SiR cluster with the same problem.
