ew...sounds iffy....listen to my story....
i was driving and i looked at something to my left...and i nailed a curb type of cement....lets review my damage......first of all...my airbags went off...causing my windshiedl to break into a milion peices..whythe airbags went off i'll never know....i thought my GSR blades nailed the curb but later i found out my tranny nailed it....causing it to crack...and leak oil slowly...drove it home whining.....not good...i wouldn't be surprised if your tranny took the blow...but then again my car is lowered a bit....good luck and hope for the best...i got jipped thats for sure...

so i'm out...
a windshield...2 pricey airbags....a b16 tranny.....all for a curb....

You must have hit the curb pretty hard for the airbags to go off, unless you had an abnormally sensitive airbag crash sensor...

i wrecked into a concrete barrier 2 winters ago, bent my frame so bad the pass. side door would not open anymore, and my air bags didnt even go off.

check the wheel alignment/tracking, otherwise if you dont hear noises, should be ok

Yeah, I would check the alignment of the car, as well as the camber for that tire. If you don't notice anything different in the next couple days, you should be fine.

Yes, a wheel alignment will certainly tell all, probably rebalance that wheel too, see if it's out enough to replace.

Yeah, maybe that pop was your bumper hitting the curb.

I once witnessed a car accident infront of my house and when the bumpers hit, it made a slapping noise. That could've been your bumper hitting the curb.

if it aint making noises, then drive it, but take it to a tyre place that does alignment/tracking and get it checked, also get wheel checked for balance

you should of checked as soon as you hit it man, but you mentioned they were steelies so if you did i'm sure a local junkyard will have another or thats just better reason to get some wheels

that a false man, you are more likely to knock tracking out if you hit one wheel, also the shaking is cuz your wheel needs balancing

I paid $40 for alignment. I had trouble finding a place that does alignment on lowered cars. I went to a place where the mufflers roam (westminster, ca) and found japanese car specialists. They adjusted toe and camber.

I too hit a curb a while ago, The entrence of my office's parking lot had some black ice on it, and i hit the curb when my steering wheel turns to full right.
I think I bent the driver side front wheel, Because I kept getting steering wheel rattle when I drive up to 75mph.
I bought my car to get alignment done, and they told me they couldn't find anything bent, but the caster on the driver side is off, and they couldn't get it back to stock spec.
So I was wondering, Could it be a bent lower control arm? that it affected the caster even we can't tell it's bent just by looking at it?
