Default Rear wiper and stuff at high speeds

Has anyone had a problem with the rear wiper coming off at high speeds and getting bent back? Also the same goes with the side mirrors?

Because I was on the hwy earlier racing a supercharged M3 and at a very high speed my rear wiper flew off and I think hit his car, then the side mirrors started to get pushed in. Is this normal or something? Later when I parked the car, I noticed the rear wiper arm was totaly bent back and both side mirrors were slightly pushed in!
Kinda strange huh, time to go by some new wipers or remove the rear one I guess.

I do believe this is quite impossible unless it is broken or already unnaturally loose.

Looks like it's time for a dual plane rear wing, and a front splitter!

Mike...that's why you remove the rear wiper...which mine should be by the end of this weekend.

And I don't even want to know how fast you were going...as I already know first hand how fast your car is

Your also implying that you were far enough ahead of the SUPERCHARGED M3 for your wiper to hit him.

How'd you do against that M3 by the way? SC'd m3 guys seem to think of their cars as the fastest thing on the road. at least the ones i know do.

If you've ridden in his car, you would understand that it is very fast...12's on slick while still spinning the tires...

I don't think that would happen if they were fine before.

yea my rear wiper flys back just like yours at about anything 80mph+ on a windy day. except the reason mine flys back is becuz i don't have the spring that holds it down to the window...

Here's the info you wanted on the race. I started pulling on him when we gunned it going like 70mph in 4th to redline, then I shifted into 5th and started pulling some more. Whats weird is normally I just back off when I go into 5th because I will be ahead, but for some reason he was hanging closer to me then I liked, so I kepted flooring it. Next thing I know the speedo is very far down the line and kinda stopped yet the car kept pulling hard. So I backed off and looked behind to see where he was. Thats when I noticed my rear wiper arm bent all back. I then look in my side mirror for cops and notice that it kinda angled funny. So I pull off the hwy and park. I got out and noticed that the side mirror was slightly kinked and the rear wiper was totally gone! Then when I went to put the arm on the glass I notice that its all bent up! I was like WTF how fast was I going.
I know that when I once raced a chick a new S351 stang on the hwy for around 20miles going like 140mph this stuff never happened, so I dunno. Kinda scary though. The car did feel good which is the best part IMO. I've been doing alot of work balancing the weight and losing weight from the car and I think its helped some. I know when I raced a new M3 on the hwy going around 140 or so the back felt a lot lighter.

Anyway, I gonna check my plugs in a bit because I'm still wondering why I didn't pull from him faster when we first started racing. I've ridden in and raced 300whp supercharged M3's with cams, etc... and I will pull on them really fast due to their weight and lack of trq and power until they reach very high rpms, however this M3 somehow managed to hang with me like some other cars do which are a lot faster then any supercharged M3 will do.
Side note most supercharged M3's with say 250-325whp, will hit mid-low 13's quarter mile pending mods and weight. One thing that sucks is with most of our cars (minus the turbo monsters) were fast when you first start going, however once you start to get into the pulling high top speeds, cars with 6+cly will pull hard on us with all their trq.
I'm sure Austin can testify how fast the car will pull when I down shift on the hwy and go. This car hung with me for me longer then that Lotus did with all 4 of us in the car!!!

just pulled the plugs:

Whats crazy is that these plugs were just put in on 12-28-01!!! Only like 1.5months old. Looks like I'm a little rich! lol Plus the plug tips looks a little too brown. Oh yeah and they plugs were really loose when I took them out hmmm.

Here's an example of what bad spark plugs vs good spark plugs do to my car:

We think that with the richness of the engine, plus with my power I'm blowing out the spark on the plugs which causes the car to miss fire up high. Earlier today I think that was what was happening because I did notice my exhaust popping a lot when was reving it up.

Time to get the JDM electric folding mirrors mike...
That way, when you get into a high speed race, you can just fold them in for less drag!

what color F50? We have a few of those around here. Only red ones though. I've heard of a black one around here, but still havn't seen it. We do have a lot of F40's and lambo's which is cool. A friend was also behind a new body style yellow lambo! Now that would be a fun race! Yeah I know I would die greatly! Heck it even wouldn't be a race to them, however it would be cool to see that baby in action and flying by you like you were still.
