90 DX Hatchback? was this a MPFI swap as well?
What's happening is, you're getting fuel in the chamber, but not much. Distributor's igniting the vapors.
But when you open throttle it's cutting fuel. This could be because the TPS is going bad or is clogged.
If you don't swap the TPS wires around when you go DPFI to MPFI, this is the result, it thinks you're at 100% throttle when you're at 0% and floods the chamber with fuel causing a little backfiring too.
