I searched and found nothing. I am removing my head to put arp head studs and a cometic head gasket on my y8
My Q-
Is there a way I myself can tell if the head/block is warped by using a metal straight edge? or should I just get it machined anyway?
Thanks

yea see if you can get the feeler gauges under the straight edge when you hold it from top left corner down to the bottom right, then from top right to bottom left, the horizontally, then vertically (as if you were looking down onto it... or like a clock from like 10 to 4, then from like 2 to 8 then 9 to 3 and then 12 to 6) haha, do ya get that?

well the thing is that I have been running high boost(14psi) on my stock internals. I think my head studs finally **** on me because I have boost leak into my coolant system. So the head is probably lifting off of the block when I boost because the stock studs are stressed. I also have carbon in my coolant system, which is how I really came to the conclusion.
