I blow my head gasket last tuesday(not bad) so i drove home today and waited an hour or so and pulled off the head and in the 3rd slevee at the bottom it looks like rust? wtf.
ill post a pic when i find my cam.
tell me if this is normal, and what do i do

 

I doubt it's rust, but more like composite left on the walls. But eitherway, just lightly hone & clean the walls and if there's no scratches, then you're good to go.
