Default high O2 sensor output voltage-bad measurement?

Is it possible to get an O2 sensor votage of over 1 volt?
I get a reading of 1.7 at wot sometimes, and sometimes .15-.25, but usually its at .4. If i keep a constant rev around 3k rpm, its around .35. If the o2 sensor is bad, wouldnt my ECU throw a code, or is it possible my O2 sensor reader is off/mis calibrated?

I'm running a greddy SOHC kit with the blue box.

I'm going to take the kit off next week or the week after to get a smog test, im afraid the o2 sensor is bad and will make my car fail.

thanks
