Default Installing Password 3 point bar

Do I have to drill holes in the firewall for the 3rd mount location? I did a quick look under the hood and didnt see any real place for it to attach too.

Have you read the directions yet?

The directions are in there, and on the website...and they give you the bolt size.

Yeah, it says 12mm bolts. What just go to the hardware store and say I need 2 12mm bolts? How long you think I need?

No, the 12mm it refers to in the manual is the size of the wrench needed for the hex heads, I think the actual bolt size is 6 or 8mm. Go to your hardware store and check it out which size bolts that have a 12mm hex head. Lengthwise they should be, well, just long enough
15mm should be enough I think.

yeah, I called password after I got my bar with no bolts too, they said that any of the bolts with a 10mm head will work, example: bolts holding your headlights on, there are a million of these things on the car. I went to Lowes and got som 8X1 metric bolts (I think they were 8X1), 8 is the shaft diameter size in mm, and 1 is the thread pitch. I can double check the size tomorrow, or do what I did, take one of the bolts out of your headlight and take it into the store with you and see what size nut that fits on, then find a couple of bolts with the same dimentions.
